South Gwinnett High Evacuated Due To Small Fire
Smoke reportedly filled the third floor of the school.
SNELLVILLE, GA — South Gwinnett High School was evacuated around 8:30 a.m. Thursday due to a small bathroom fire, according to Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services.
A caller to 911 reported smoke filling the third floor of the school, according to the fire department.
Fire officials said the fire did not spread to other parts of the school, and there wasn't any structural damage.

One person was treated for an unrelated medical issue and taken to the hospital, according to the fire department. There were no other reported injuries.
Fire officials said the fire was incendiary in nature.

The school remained open for the rest of the day.
Gwinnett County Public Schools Police is investigating.
