Student Art on Display at Dogwood Festival
Want to do something fun this weekend? Head to the Dogwood Festival and support high school artists.
The art work of three students will be on display at the Dogwood Festival as part of a special exhibit this weekend.
Ashlee Wilson's work entitled "Just Keep Swimming," Georgia Bland's work entitled "A Touch of Comfort," and Stephanie Wagner's work entitled "Hell Hath No Fury" are all being displayed as part of the Atlanta High School Art Exhibition (ASHAE).
The exhibition is in the community center near the 12th Street entrance of Piedmont Park in Atlanta.

ASHAE is a juried competition, and this year there were more than 600 entries from 60 schools throughout the state, according to information from the Dogwood Festival website. The top 95 works are then featured at the festival.
Top winners also received more than $40,000 in prizes and scholarships.
