Blake Cunningham takes the competition down for rousing state title finish.
Brookwood High's own Blake Cunningham is the newest state wrestling champion in the 285-pound category.
Over the weekend, he pulled off the win with a stunning takedown against Lowndes High's Stacey Wright. The winning Class AAAAA match was held Saturday, February 18, at the Gwinnett Arena in Duluth.

Cunningham is the school's first state champion since 1995, when Justin Hornsby captured the title.
Although Cunningham has just won the wrestling state championship, he's not too shabby in football either.

The offensive lineman has already signed on to play football at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
