Viewfinder: Belk Charity Sale

Doors opened at 6 a.m. this past Saturday for the Belk Charity Sale. There were deals and sales, plus the opportunity to support local charities.

The is an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to partner with the department store to raise money.

Charities sell tickets to the special sale. Belk opens early at 6 a.m., and until 10 a.m., they offer special sales and discounted prices.

Tickets to the event were $5. A ticket offered access to the store during the sale hours and gave customer $5 off individual items.

As an added bonus the first 100 customers through the door received a Belk Gift card with mystery values of $5.00 to $1,000.00.
