The sixth annual Gwinnett County Readers Rally was held at Berkmar High School on Saturday, Feb. 12. Snellville-area elementary, middle and high schools were represented at the rally by students on their respective competition teams. An estimated 3,000 people flocked to the event to watch nearly 100 teams compete in a literary quiz bowl tournament for a spot in the finals.

This year's finalists are Chesney Elementary, Craig Elementary, Jackson Elementary, Minor Elementary, Osborne Middle, Sweetwater Middle, Berkmar High and Mill Creek High. These eight schools will go on to compete in the championship rounds on Thursday, Feb. 17. The recording of the championship rounds will air at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 22 to 27 on GCPS-TV.
