We Report The Facts

A lot of people do not like me because the facts Gwinnett Ethics report make them or someone they know look bad. The facts only make someone look bad if they do dishonest or unethical things. So if someone does not like me because we report facts that does not bother me.

Some people say we are hired to make people look bad. Gwinnett Ethics does not accept money from anyone and does not even have a bank account. We are all volunteers who want ethical government.

I wanted to get that out of the way because there have been many things said on Patch and on Facebook about us and the people running for election. Some people think we take sides. We do not. They think that because we report a lot about some candidates and not much on others. See the problem is we do not report things that do not exist. For some candidates there is nothing to report.

I will not name names here because this blog is to clear the air about what we do. We have many sources of information court records voter lists private investigators and open records information. We have documents for everything we write about. Anyone can have copies of those documents if they want them. You can see some of them and read about them if you go to www.gwinnettethics.org.
