Participants will assess crosswalks, accessibility, and business access, with feedback guiding future improvements. The first 25 people who submit input will receive a small gift card thank-you.
• Statewide manhunt for 'armed and dangerous' Sparta man (fox5atlanta.com) — Sparta residents are being urged to stay alert as state investigators search for 62-year-old Stephen Russell Ellis of Sparta, who is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen near Island Creek Church Road in Hancock County, and anyone spotting him should avoid contact and call 911. Tips can also be shared directly with the GBI by phone or online.
