• Atlanta man gets 10 years for smuggling cocaine in fruit shipments (fox5atlanta.com) — A Stone Mountain resident, Andrea Principe, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering tied to a cocaine smuggling ring that moved nearly 200 pounds of drugs into the Atlanta area. Principe faces federal sentencing on October 15, while the Atlanta ringleader has already received a 10-year prison term, with investigators still not saying if more arrests are coming.
