• 2026 Currahee Military Weekend kicks off Thursday, Oct. 1st (wnegradio.com) — Currahee Military Weekend starts this Thursday in Toccoa with four days of events honoring Camp Toccoa paratroopers and the 25th anniversary of HBO's Band of Brothers. Locals can catch discounted museum passes, a movie night at Currahee Vineyards, screenings at the Historic Ritz, and a community reception at Mitchell Allen Hall. Details and tickets are available through Toccoa history organizers.
