APS Redistricting Meeting Set for Thursday Night

Grady High cluster among schools to be discussed

Parents of Atlanta Public Schools will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed redistricting maps during a public meeting Thursday night.

This meeting is one of a several meetings APS will have in coming months to get parental input into the ongoing demographic study looking at school redistricting and reconfigurations that could lead to school closures.

The district has been taking online surveys as part of the process to gauge residents' views on the quality of schools and concerns they may have such as how important they view keeping current school zones vs. new construction and over crowding.
