Community Meetings Scheduled to Discuss Atlanta Public Schools Budget

Atlanta Public Schools officials will host four community meetings this month to discuss the 2012 budget.

The proposed budget for 2012-2013 school year is $528 million, which is an $11 million reduction from this year’s budget.

The school board tentatively approved the proposed budget on April 18, and the final vote on the budget will take place during the May 9 board meeting.

The following community meetings begin at 6 p.m.:

• Tuesday, April 26 – , Primary Center, 2845 Margaret Mitchell Dr., NW 30327
