The following crime report was sent electronically to all Lindridge/Martin Manor residents on Sunday, Oct. 23.

2100 block of Cheshire Bridge Rd.; Sept. 30 between 2:25 and 3:30 p.m.; Incident reported on Oct. 7.
Victim came to the precinct and stated she was hit in the head several times by suspect with a shoe. She advised she was at location talking to the suspect about a previous argument they had when suspect pushed her in the head causing her to drop her drink. Victim stated suspect pushed her again when she reached to pick up her drink so she stood up in a fighting stance. Victim said that's when suspect began hitting her with the shoe in the head. Victim was transported by EMS to the hospital. Victim advised police were called, but stated no one ever showed up at the hospital.

Residential Burglary
1200 block of Wylie St. SE; Oct. 5 around 4 p.m.; Oct. 6 around 9:30 a.m.Contractor returned to location and noticed suspect walking in the backyard with his back towards him. After contractor walked into the backyard he noticed the glass panel to the rear door had been broken and listed property was stolen.
Taken: Refrigerator, washer/dryer, weed eater
1500 block of Woodland Ave. SE; Oct. 8 between 4 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.
Someone broke out rear window at location (possibly with a tree branch left in the living room), entered and stole listed property. Victim believes it was a neighbor because he was only away for a couple hours and had just invited some neighbors over. The power had also been turned off by subjects via accessing the power box on the side of the residence.

1800 block of Cheshire Bridge Rd.; Oct. 13 between 5 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
Someone kicked in window to motel room and stole a wallet and shaving kit. Victim's credit card was used at a nearby restaurant, but the transaction was not available on the video surveillance system.
Taken: Shaving kit, wallet w/ DL, credit cards
Theft From Auto
1000 block of Wylie St. SE; Oct. 81995 Oldsmobile 88
Someone entered vehicle and rummaged through the car. Listed property was taken from under the hood of the vehicle. Forced entry not stated.

Auto Theft
1800 block of Piedmont Ave. NE; Oct 8, 11 a.m.; Oct. 9, unknown time
2002 Chevy Trail Blazer, GA Tag# BSI3775
Victim advised his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of Taco Cabana, but did not call police until he arrived home. Victim stated he contacted OnStar to track the vehicle, but they told him his system was not up to date. OnStar did call police and an officer responded to the scene, but no report was taken. Calls for service show police could not locate a victim.
1800 block of Cheshire Bridge Rd. NE; morning of Oct. 11
2002 BMW 325I, TN Tag# AU2829Victim advised he parked his vehicle at location (motel) and went drinking. When he returned he stated an unknown male came to his room and after the male left he went to sleep. When he woke up the next morning he realized his keys were missing along with his vehicle. Witness at location advised he saw suspect get into victim's vehicle around 4:30AM and drive off. Vehicle placed on system as stolen.
Commercial Burglary
2400 block of Cheshire Bridge Rd. NE; Sept. 8, incident reported on Oct. 10
Business - Extra Space Storage
Victim advised he was notified on Sept. 8 by management at location that his storage unit had been broken into. Victim stated he was out of town, so they placed a temporary lock on it until he returned. Upon his returned he reported listed property had been stolen. Victim lives out of state and faxed his complaint to the zone 6 precinct. Several units had been broken into during that time.
