Druid Hills is 10th Snobbiest City in Georgia

With expensive homes and an educated community, Druid Hills is one of Georgia's snootiest communities.

According to a new listing by RoadSnacks, Druid Hills is the 10th snobbiest city in Georgia.

“Do you know who lives in the biggest, grandest homes in Georgia?” the website asks. “People in Druid Hills, that’s who. Their homes most likely cost twice as much as yours do. Maybe they’re so rich because they’re so smart – nearly 82% of the people in this community finished college.”

The website ranked Georgia’s cities in terms of median home price (higher is snobbier); median household income (higher is snobbier); percent of population with a college degree (higher is snobbier); private schools per capita (higher is snobbier); theaters per capita (higher is snobbier); and art galleries per capita (higher is snobbier).

Druid Hills’ population of 14,323 has a median household income of $80,918, and a median home price of $489,033.

Georgia’s snobbiest city is Decatur, which “has the fifth most theaters and fifth most art galleries in the state of Georgia. Oh, and their motto is ’Everything is Greater In Decatur.’ If that’s not snooty, we don’t know what is.”
