Old Hickory House has reportedly closed its doors in Dunwoody, but the Tucker location is still in business.

Dunwoody barbecue fans will have to travel out of town to “Put Some South in Your Mouth.”

Old Hickory House has closed the Dunwoody location, although a Tucker restaurant remains open, according to the Atlanta Business Journal. The restaurant at 5490 Chamblee Dunwoody Road has closed it doors, the business publication says, citing a recorded message on the restaurant’s voicemail.

The original Old Hickory House opened in 1953 at a different site. The eatery was known for its Brunswick stew and Southern breakfast items.
