This program, for children three to five years old accompanied by a parent or other adult, is held in the Ancient Americas Galleries of the Michael C. Carlos Museum.
During the Artful Stories program, children will sit, surrounded by works of art, and listen to stories of ancient Greece, Egypt, Asia, and the Americas. They will then proceed with their companions to the Tate Room to create art based on the story and cultures represented.
This month's Artful Stories program features Lynne Cherry's, The Great Kapok Tree, set in the tropical rainforest of South America.
