As a part Atlanta Jewish Film Festival three short films will be shown. The first, Kosher, is about a lonely Orthodox Jewish boy who struggles with faith, friendship and lost innocence when his disapproving parents remove his little pet pig. The second film, Ben-Gurion Hosting, is an animated biography of Israel’s first prime minister. The third short, Woody Before Allen, is about a native of Kaliningrad, Russia who is determined to erect a Woody Allen statue to commemorate the iconic filmmaker’s connection to the German city that originally bore his birth name.
