Brewing Up Soil Health: Introduction to Aerated Compost Teas Saturday, September 29, 10- 12:00pm $15 Garden Member , $20 Non-Member Join Michael McLane and discover the benefits of applying aerated compost teas (ACT) in your garden.ACT is a simple process you can learn to do for extracting beneficial organisms and nutrients to promote plant and soil health. This class will cover ingredients, DIY equipment, processes, safety, and application. Students will go home with enough information to build a low cost compost aerator, the knowledge to brew tea and a fresh sample of tea to spray or drench in their own gardens. 5 person minimum. Advanced registration required.
