Emory University’s Halle Institute for Global Learning is launching a new China Speaker Series, which will explore China’s political history in the midst of its extraordinary rise as a world power in the 21st century.
Ezra Vogel, the renowned scholar of modern Japan and China, will deliver the first lecture in the series. Vogel will discuss the legacy of Deng Xiaoping, who expanded China’s relationships with Europe, Japan, and the United States during his time in power (1978-1992).
For more information or to register to attend the Vogel lecture. Seating is limited; registration is highly encouraged.
