Lamp Shade Chandelier

Create your own whimsical lampshade using the frame of one that has seen better days. You will need to bring your shade (or frame) with you. Thrift stores, yard sales and Mom’s attic are good places to find these gems. The more ornate the frame, the better but make sure that the frame has splines and is not simply a top and a bottom held together by the fabric shade. Feel free to contact me if you have any reservations about this part…I am here to help.
We will wrap things, glue things, tie things…fabric, rope, beads, ribbon, wire, paper or any other fun things you can come up with. We will have a stash of supplies for your use but feel free to bring things from home that you think you might want to incorporate into your new shade. When we are done you will have a shade that you could actually use as a shade on a lamp, as a chandelier, or it could be used as a mobile…there are all sorts of uses for your new shade! Ages 16+.
