Emory's Halle Institute for Global Learning will feature a lecture by Dr. John Jung, Professor of Psychology Emeritus at California State University, Long Beach titled "Searching for His Chinese Identity…A Psychologist Morphs into An Historian." Dr. Jung will discuss how he discovered his family's legacy of immigration to the U.S. South as "Paper Sons," as many Chinese did as a result of the Chinese Exclusion Era, his journey from psychologist to historian and the books he has written as a result. His published works will be available with a book signing taking place during the evening as well.
Admission to this event is free and open to the public, however, registration for this event is required.
