As a part of the Emory Cinematheque International Film Series, this film features Bollywood superstar (Sholay, 1975) and future wife of Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bhaduri in her first film about a middle-class housewife takes a job to supplement the family’s income, only to see the destabilization of her family when she becomes the household’s sole source of income.
