"Sorry, Wrong Number," Film Screening

A part of the Emory Cinematheque Series: “Dark Streets and Dangerous Dames," "Sorry Wrong Number" was released in 1948 by Paramount and directed by Anatloe Litvak.  It was produced by Hal Wallis; adapted by Lucille Fletcher from her radio play; cinematography by Sol Polito; music by Franz Waxman; starring Barbara Stanwyck, Burt Lancaster.

The film began as a hit 1943 radio drama built around the single role of a bed-ridden heiress who overhears plans for her murder on her phone.
