Hosted by the Inman Middle School PTA, noted author and attorney, J. Tom Morgan, will share his expertise regarding Georgia laws that impact teens. Parents and teens are invited to come learn what "normal" teen behaviors can have significant legal consequences and what those consequences are. Mr. Morgan, the former district attorney of Dekalb County and a parent himself, has firsthand, practical knowledge and advice for parents and teens about laws, the consequences for violating laws, and how to help teenagers make safe, informed choices.
Copies of Mr. Morgan's book "Ignorance is No Defense, A Teenager's Guide to Georgia Law" will be on sale for $10.
