As a part of the week honoring Dr. Marting Luther King, Jr. a panel discussion will be held. Activists and academics will discuss women’s involvement in SNCC and other civil rights organizations. The panelists are: Constance Curry, retired director, human services, City of Atlanta; Emilye Crosby, professor of history and coordinator Africana/Black studies, SUNY and visiting scholar, James Weldon Johnson Institute; Jacqueline Rouse, associate professor, African American History, Georgia State University.
