Gas Hits $2 a Gallon

The average U.S. price for gasoline fell to $2 a gallon on Sunday.

Prices haven’t been this low since 2009, according to AAA.

CNN reports that more than two-thirds of gas stations nationwide are selling gas for less than $2 a gallon.

The biggest reason for cheap gas? Oil prices have been falling since December 4, when OPEC failed to reach an agreement on how much oil to produce. The excess supply in oil is partly fed by record U.S. production.
