Grady High Mock Trial Team Places 6th at Internationals

The award-winning mock trial team earned 6th place at an international tournament held in New York City last weekend.

Grady won the tournament last year.

Thirty-four teams from the United States, Australia, Canada, Korea, Great Britain and Ireland competed this year at the Empire City Mock Trial Association International, which involves enacting a trial complete with prosecutors, defense attorneys, defendants and witnesses before a panel of attorneys and judges.

La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks, Calif. defeated Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory in Kingston, Penn. for the championship.
