Grady Students Awarded College Scholarships

Seven students were awarded four year, full-tuition scholarships by a nonprofit.

Paige Banks, Eve Brown, Jacob Frieson-Grant, Quameiha Grandoit, Marius Jackson, Queen White and Jamil Williams were among a select group of students recognized by The Posse Foundation for outstanding academic achievement.

The Grady group was among 22 Atlanta Public Schools students awarded scholarships.

The nonprofit “identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential that may be overlooked by the traditional college selection processes. Posse extends to these students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence by placing them in supportive, multicultural teams—Posses—of 10 students.  Every Posse Scholar is awarded a four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarship to a prestigious college or university.”

Grady High School is the feeder school for , , and , among others.
