Junior League DeKalb to Host Prospective Member Open House, July 26

DECATUR, GA – The Junior League of DeKalb County, Inc. (JLD) will hold a prospective member open house on Sunday, July 26, 2015, from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at its league headquarters, the historical Mary Gay House, located at 716 W. Trinity Place in downtown Decatur. This informational session will provide potential new members with an opportunity to meet current members, ask questions, and learn about the volunteering, educational, and social opportunities JLD provides its members. We welcome all women interested in making a difference in DeKalb County and learning more about JLD to attend.

The afternoon will begin with a reception at 2:30 p.m. followed by the program, where attendees will learn about JLD’s commitment to investing in the community, women, and one another. Attendees will also receive an overview of JLD’s history of making a positive impact in DeKalb County for over 80 years. “The Junior League of DeKalb County provides an excellent opportunity to be active in your own community,” said Vice President of Membership Kimberly Roberts. “The various opportunities to serve are both enlightening and fulfilling.”
