Our feature will be the St. Beauty Band

St. Beauty is the soulful lovechild of Alex Belle: lead vocals, and Isis Valentino: background vocals, guitar, and bass. Both are originally from Atlanta, GA; a rarity in its own right in the self proclaimed “Melting Pot of the South”. Alex Belle began songwriting and arranging melodies at a young age, but truly fell in love with the stage while playing the lead in a series of high school musicals. Alex brings honest and personal lyrics dealing with relationships, status quo, and the freedom to be an individual. Her melodies are honey drenched and haunting as they linger in the minor key to deliver a richness dripping with raw emotion. Isis Valentino, a member of the Wondaland Arts Society has already traveled the world as a former dancer for Janelle Monae, and bass player with the opening act while touring with Solange. Her sophistication is evident in the effortless style and grace exuded from her soothing vocals and delicate talents on guitar. Alex’s lyrical melodies coupled with Isis’ chordal progressions and her minimalist approach to guitar and bass create an enchanting blend of soul, folk, rock, and tribal music to introduce to the sound spectrum.
