Report: Man Arrested in Connection to Virginia-Highland Robbery

Atlanta Police have arrested one man in connection with an armed robbery last month in Virginia-Highland, according to a WSBTV report.

Police told WSB that Roy Latimore, who also uses the name Dewon Pitts, was arrested on Tuesday "for another armed robbery in northeast Atlanta."

Investigators compared his mug shot to a composite sketch developed based on descriptions provided by the female victims in a North Highland Avenue attack. Surveillance video from a Citgo gas station on Boulevard showed men in a gold minivan using the women's stolen credit cards to buy gas.

"Both victims picked out him as the person who had the gun and was involved in the robbery," Atlanta police investigator Darrin Smith told Channel 2's Amy Napier Viteri.
