• Savannah State Women's Basketball Adds 12 New Players (savannahtribune.com) — A Hillgrove High School standout from Powder Springs, guard Kierra Jackson, is among 12 new players joining Savannah State's women's basketball team for the 2026–27 season. Investigators in Paulding County concluded no newborn existed, but court records indicate she was later charged with obstruction for allegedly lying during that missing-child inquiry.
