WOODSTOCK, GA — A man was killed, and two students were injured, in a Tuesday morning crash involving a school bus in Woodstock, police say.
The fatal crash happened between a school bus and another vehicle around 6:45 a.m. at Highway 5/Main Street and Highway 92, Woodstock Police said.
The accident caused injuries for two students and killed a 79-year-old Marietta man, police said.
The man was the driver of the second vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The man's family has asked his name be withheld, police said.
An ambulance took one of the students who were injured to a local hospital for evaluation, and the parents of the second student took their child to a doctor of their choice, police said.
Both of the students suffered minor injuries, police said.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
