Crews used generators, pump trucks, and clean-up teams to stop overflows, disinfect affected areas, and conduct water testing, while consultants now review how to strengthen the system for future storms.

3. DOH conditionally approves Navy Aiea Halawa Shaft reactivation (kitv.com) — State health officials have conditionally approved reactivating the Navy's Aiea Halawa Shaft, adding a treated drinking water source for the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam system that serves about 93,000 people near Honolulu.
