With remarks from Gov. Josh Green and local advocates, the event highlighted ongoing efforts to prevent tragedies on Hawaiʻi's roads and support those already affected.
• Micah Alejado powers Hawaii past New Mexico State 29-19 (cbssports.com) — Honolulu fans saw the University of Hawaii football team notch a 29-19 home win over New Mexico State on Saturday night, powered by quarterback Micah Alejado's 346 passing yards. Key plays from DeVon Rice, Tama Uiliata and a late interception helped the Rainbow Warriors stay perfect at home in the series as they now look ahead to visiting Wyoming.
