Latino Fest returns to Boise for 10th year, celebrating Latin American culture (kivitv.com) โ Downtown Boise will host Latino Fest's 10th anniversary this Saturday, starting with a 3:30 p.m. parade from City Hall to Cecil D. Andrus Park. Residents can enjoy live music, traditional dances, cumbia, and food from across Latin America. Students help break ground on the new Lake Hazel Elementary coming to South Boise (kivitv.com) โ Families in South Boise can expect a brand-new Lake Hazel Elementary campus that will more than double capacity to about 850 students by next school year. Backed by state facility funding, the $26 million project replaces the aging, leaky building with modern classrooms, better heating and cooling, and more natural light, promising a more comfortable learning environment for neighborhood kids.

Kids Make the Most of Rain at Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic (kidotalkradio.com) โ Boise's 35th Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is underway now at Ann Morrison Park, with launches starting Thursday morning and continuing through Saturday. Despite a rainy Kids Day, families still met pilots, tried candlestick burns, and enjoyed local vendors. Expect colorful balloons over Boise's skies for four days, drawing visitors from around the world.

Connor Wood Reschedules Boise Show After Dancing With the Stars N (kidotalkradio.com) โ Connor Wood's live podcast show at Boise's Knitting Factory, originally set for September 17, 2026, has been pushed back to April 23, 2027 because he's joining Dancing With the Stars. Boise fans will still get a tour stop, just several months later, and the piece also suggests local spots he might explore while he's in town.
