Rake Up Boise 2026: How to Get Help or Volunteer (kidotalkradio.com) — Rake Up Boise returns this November, and Boise-area residents can already apply for free yard help or sign up volunteer teams to rake leaves for older adults, veterans, and people with disabilities across Ada County. You don't have to live in Boise to participate, but NeighborWorks Boise coordinates all applications and teams. Key deadlines hit in mid-to-late October, so now's the time to get involved.
3. Judge sets $1 million dollar bond for 18-year-old Boise drive-by shooting suspect (kivitv.com) — An 18-year-old Meridian resident is being held on a $1 million bond in connection with a deadly Boise drive-by shooting that killed a 22-year-old Caldwell woman. Prosecutors say surveillance video shows a car circling a home before six shots were fired, and allege the suspect drove while a 17-year-old co-defendant shot from the vehicle; a preliminary hearing is set for September 17.
4.
