Airing now in the LC Valley: Salt & Light Catholic Radio (dnews.com) β A Boise-based Catholic radio network, Salt & Light, is expanding its reach while highlighting a Boise chef known for a baked-potato-lookalike ice cream dessert. Starting from Boise 17 years ago, the station now operates across Idaho, including new frequencies in the LC Valley, as it works to connect and educate listeners about the Catholic faith.

Former Idaho police officer accused of hiding Russian control of company with federal contracts (eastidahonews.com) β A former Boise police officer who later became CEO of a Virginia tech firm has been charged with allegedly helping hide Russian ownership and software development to win U.S. government contracts. He previously served with Boise Police for 14 years and recently appeared in federal court in Idaho before being released on bond, with prosecutors stressing the allegations remain unproven.
