Boise Fire And Police Respond To A Fire On S. Roosevelt
Smoke was seen coming from the back of house and fire fighters were able to quickly put out the fire and contain the damage to 1 bedroom.

Around 10:30 this morning, Boise Police, Boise Fire and Ada County Paramedics responded to a fire at a home on the 600 block of S. Roosevelt St. Everyone was able to get out of the house safely as crews arrived on scene. Smoke was seen coming from the back of the house and fire fighters were able to quickly put out the fire and contain the damage to one bedroom. Three fire engines, one ladder truck and two medical units responded to the call.

Following a preliminary investigation, Boise Police officers were able to determine that the fire was intentionally set and officers believe the adult subject responsible was in crisis at the time. There are no outstanding suspects. Charges are pending and the subject is receiving the necessary services.
Roosevelt was closed for a short time and is back open.
