Boise Officers Arrest Suspect On Multiple Sexual Assault Charges

Arrested: Joel Guerrero, 47, Boise

Charges: Rape (F), Forcible Penetration by use of a foreign object (F), Kidnapping (F)

On 4/27/2020 Boise Police responded to a call for service regarding a reported sexual assault that occurred earlier that morning. After an investigation, officers found evidence that the suspect had gone to the victim’s home shortly after midnight where he sexually assaulted the victim and held her against her will. The victim and the suspect are known to each other. The investigation was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office and a warrant was issued for Guerrero’s arrest. Guerrero was booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charges.
