Boise Police Department Investigates Child's Death, Suspect Charged With Murder

Charge: Murder (F), Injury to Child (F)

On 6/20/20 Boise Police responded to a report of an injury to a child at a local hospital. The suspect, Thomas Rowley, is suspected of causing fatal injuries to an infant in his care. Detectives from the Boise Police Department Special Victims Unit responded and initially Rowley was booked into the Ada County Jail on one count of Injury to a Child on 6/21/20. Sadly the child passed away later that night. Charges against Rowley have been amended and he is now facing an additional charge of murder in the first degree.
