Charges: Probation Violation

At 7:25 a.m. Boise Police received information about a wanted suspect at a home on the 11000 block of W. Musket Street. Officers confirmed the subject, Tommy Eyton, had a warrant for a felony probation violation. Officers made contact with the subject over the phone and were able to confirm that he was alone in the home. The suspect refused to come out and surrender to police. BPD Crisis Negotiators spent several hours trying to get the suspect to come out peacefully. A BPD Special Operation Unit was called in to assist because of the suspect’s criminal history and his possible access to weapons. After continued attempts to get the suspect to surrender, specially trained officers deployed CS gas into the residence and the suspect safely exited the house at 1:25 p.m. He was cleared by medics on scene and taken to the Ada County Jail to be booked on the listed charge.
