Boise Police Investigate Fatal Crash On Amity Road

Just after 2:00 this morning Boise Police were dispatched to a single vehicle crash that had just occurred on Amity Road near Holcomb. The vehicle crashed into a power pole and when officers and paramedics arrived, the driver was found to be deceased at the scene. Boise Police officers closed Amity Road between S. Trails End Ln and Holcomb Rd as they began an investigation. A crash reconstruction team and detectives from the Boise Police Department responded to the scene along with the Ada County Coroner. Their investigation remains ongoing and the identity of the driver will be released by the Ada County Coroner pending notification of next of kin. The road was reopened around 8:00 a.m.
