Campers at Montessori Academy Raise $650 for Alex's Lemonade Stand

Campers sold lemonade and cookies to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research

Summer campers at Montessori Academy Parkcenter in Boise and Montessori Academy in Eagle recently partnered to donate more than $650 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a childhood cancer foundation dedicated to raising funds for research, supporting families and raising awareness to help cure childhood cancer. To raise money for the organization, campers at the two schools hosted lemonade stands and sold cookies to fellow campers, families, staff and teachers. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of working together to help those in need.
