Out of an abundance of caution, and with the safety and health of the community in mind, this year’s event was held virtually. During the event, Mayor McLean announced that, in total, the city approved 20 unique neighborhood projects worth $548,000 through a combination of strategic alignment of funding resources. Most of the projects were requested by application through the city’s registered neighborhood associations.
“Boise's neighborhoods are the heartbeat of our city,” said Mayor McLean. “By investing in the improvement projects through the Neighborhood Investment Program, we are investing in our residents. I am encouraged by the engagement and the passion we hold for creating a city for everyone.”
