The City of Boise remains steadfast in our commitment to doing everything we can to ensure there is a home for everyone who chooses to live in this community. This includes our most vulnerable residents, those who are currently unhoused, and those who are on the brink of losing their home. We take this responsibility very seriously.

While we are actively working on developing permanent supportive housing to serve our neighbors experiencing homelessness, the winter weather presents a much more urgent need. The Our Path Home team, which includes City of Boise staff, has been working for several weeks on addressing these issues. Together, we have acted quickly to supplement the shelter beds available by:

We will continue to stay in close coordination with our local shelter providers and partner agencies of Our Path Home, including the street outreach team.
