On Sunday, Sept 19, 2021, around 5:30 pm Boise Police officers were dispatched to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash on E. Carter Street near S. Bridgeport Lane.  A preliminary investigation showed a juvenile driver was headed westbound on E. Carter Street when she left the roadway and collided with two pedestrians and a dog on the sidewalk. The two adult female pedestrians received what appeared to be serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital. They are both in stable condition today. One of the pedestrian’s dogs was also struck by the vehicle and passed away at the scene.

A Boise Police Department crash reconstruction team responded to the scene along with detectives. The investigation is ongoing. Charges are pending for the juvenile driver.
