The City of Boise has been working diligently throughout the COVID-19 crisis on plans to reopen City Hall, city facilities and businesses throughout our community. As we begin to slowly and carefully start up city operations entering Phase One, the City of Boise will host a number of meetings virtually through teleconferencing software (Zoom) in order to maintain required social distancing and ensure public safety.

Planning and Zoning, Historic Preservation, Design Review and Arts & History commissions will all begin meeting virtually this month. City Council and these commissions will be taking public testimony live during these virtual meetings and the public will participate via Zoom. Members of the public can also watch a livestream of each of these meetings. Information on upcoming meetings, how to testify and links to watch live can be found at cityofboise.org/virtual-meetings.

Virtual hearings will be moderated by an emcee who will allow attendees to present testimony for their allotted times, similar to how the hearings would be conducted in person.

Hybrid hearings, where some commissioners, staff and public are physically present and others join virtually, are being explored as an option for future stages.
