Community Partners Open Warming Shelter For Residents Experiencing Homelessness In Boise
The City of Boise is providing funding for rent, utilities and a midday meal.

Our Path Home, the public-private partnership working to end homelessness in Ada County, anchored by the City of Boise and several key homeless service providers, today opened doors to a winter warming shelter for community members experiencing homelessness.

The winter warming shelter, located at the former Foothills School of Arts and Sciences (618 S. 8th Street) is open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. seven days a week. Interfaith Sanctuary is providing staff, supplies and day-to-day management of the shelter.
The Our Path Home OUTREACH team and community partners, including Corpus Christi House and places of faith, are donating time and resources to provide additional staff, case management services, snacks and supplies. The City of Boise is providing funding for rent, utilities and a midday meal.

In previous years, Corpus Christi House was operating as a winter day shelter for those experiencing homelessness. Due to Covid-19, the Corpus Christi House winter day shelter has been limited to providing services such as showers and mail.
The nearly 50 partner agencies of Our Path Home work together to shelter and provide housing and services for those experiencing homelessness in our community.
