ISP Looking For Witnessess To Fatal Crash
The Idaho State Police has put out a call to anyone witnessing a fatal two semi crash on Interstate 84 on Friday, April 16 near Caldwell.

BOISE, ID — The Idaho State Police is asking the public for assistance after a crash on Interstate 84 resulted in the death of a semi driver.

On Friday, April 16, 2021, at approximately, 11:40 am, Idaho State Police investigated a fatal crash on I84 near milepost 29 in Caldwell

.Jesus Gastelum Corrales, 24, of Glenns Ferry was traveling eastbound in a 2006 Peterbilt tractor-trailer. Gastelum Corrales lost control of the vehicle, went over the median and collided with another tractor-trailer driven by Clifford Dow, 34, of White City, Oregon.
Gastelum Corrales was transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Dow succumbed to his injuries at the scene.Notification has been made to next of kin.

Investigating Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this crash, and who has not already spoken with a Trooper, to please contact ISP Dispatch.
The search for witnesses includes anyone who may have followed the eastbound tractor-trailer driven by Corrales prior to the crash.
