Missing Man's Body Recovered In Apparent Drowning

Boise Police responded to Quinn's Pond Aug. 17 for an apparent drowning and discovered the body of a man who had been missing for 3 days.

From the City of Boise: Boise Police responded to Quinn’s Pond Aug. 17 at approximately 8:30 p.m. for an apparent drowning. Officers entered the water and recovered the body of an adult male. The body had been in the water for several days and was determined to be a man in his 20s.

According to police, the man had last been seen by friends and family on Aug. 14. Detectives and the Ada County Coroner are investigating and there are no obvious signs of foul play. The Ada County Coroner's Office will release the man’s identity pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is ongoing.
